Our History

Covering the tent, event and manufacturing needs of the Midwest since 1886

Started as O’Neil Tent and Awning Company, we proudly served the tent and awning needs of the central Ohio community. Over time, we began to move away from the awning business. In the 1960s, we changed our focus to tent rentals in Columbus, Ohio, and throughout the Midwest.

We have been serving the tent and event equipment rental needs for corporate events, fairs, festivals, sporting events, weddings, construction, residential, military and government for over a century.

O’Neil Tents has built a solid reputation for providing outstanding variety, value and expertise to the special events industry. Our experience with designing and manufacturing custom vinyl solutions brings in new customers who need innovative answers every day.

O’Neil’s reputation for quality

We know that we’re only as good as our last event.  In-house manufacturing keeps our inventory fresh during the rental season. We manufacture our own tent tops, so if a tent top needs to be removed due to quality, we can have a replacement ready in a matter of days, not weeks. Our focus on keeping our inventory quantity high gives us the opportunity to work with customers on a repetitive basis.
